Сценарий праздника английского алфавита


«The ABC - party»

(3 классы)

Задачи:


Образовательная: расширение кругозора учащихся.

Развивающие:

1) развитие творческих способностей учащихся;

2) формирование готовности к коммуникации, мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Воспитательные:

1)развитие интереса к англоязычному чтению;

2) воспитание уважения к культуре других народов.

Оборудование: магнитофон, карточки с буквами английского алфавита, рисунки, воздушные шары.

Characters: letters of the ABC; teacher.

(На сцену выходят 26 учеников – букв. У каждого из них в руках карточка с буквой (гласная – красного цвета, согласная – синего) и рисунок. Участники – буквы встают полукругом.)

Teacher: Good afternoon, children! Сегодня мы с вами совершим путешествие в волшебную страну Englishland. Во время путешествия мы встретимся с ее жителями (буквами). Перед тем, как мы с вами совершим это путешествие, давайте вспомним всех жителей – букв страны Englishland. (Звучит “The alphabet song”).

Teacher: А теперь ребята давайте познакомимся с каждым жителем страны Englishland (буквой) поближе. So, let’s name the first letter altogether.

Children:
A.

Teacher:
You are right. A, you are welcome!

A: A is for apples and apple – tree

You can see apples on the apple – trees.

Teacher: Let’s name the next letter.

Children: B

Teacher: B, you are welcome!

B: B is for ball

My ball is big and round.

His ball is blue and brown.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: C.

Teacher: C, you are welcome!


C is for cat, my cat is grey.
He likes to run and he likes to play.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: D.

Teacher: D, you are welcome!

D is for dog and for doggy
I have a dog, his name is Bobby.

Teacher: Let’s name the next letter.

Children: E.

Teacher: E, you are welcome!

E is for English. At school we learn Russian and English too.
Do you like English? Yes, I do.

Teacher: Let’s name the next letter.

Children: F.

Teacher: F, you are welcome!

F is for flowers: red and blue,

White and yellow and rosy too.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: G.

Teacher: G, you are welcome!

G is for girl, the girl is six.
She likes to play with little chicks.

Teacher: After G goes the letter …

Children: H.

Teacher: H, you are welcome!

H is for hat, Ann has a hat.
I’m a boy, I have a cap.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: I.

Teacher: Right. I, you are welcome!

I is for I. I am a boy and I’m ten.

I like to play with my brother Ben.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: J.

Teacher: J, you are welcome!

J is for jam. Two little boys, Johnny and Sam,
Sit down to have some tea and jam.

Teacher: After J goes …

Children: K.

Teacher: K, you are welcome!

K is for kite, Kate has a kite.
Her kite is little, and it is white.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: L.

Teacher: L, you are welcome!

L is for letters, do you know them all?
Yes, I do, twenty six in all.

Teacher: After L goes …

Children: M.

Teacher: M, you are welcome!

M is for mother. I agree she is fine.
You love your mother and I love mine.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: N.

Teacher: N, you are welcome!

N is for nuts. How much is one plus one.

Two big nuts for little son.

Teacher: Let’s name the next letter!

Children: O.

Teacher: O, you are welcome!

O is for one. One and two is three.
Three little cats are in the tree.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: P.

Teacher: P, you are welcome!

P is for pencils. Peter has a pencil, Peter has a pen.
He paints with his pencil and writes with his pen.

Teacher: After P goes …

Children: Q.

Teacher: Q, you are welcome!

Q is for questions. How are you?

How old are you? And how do you do?

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: R.

Teacher: R, you are welcome!

R is for roses, they are white and red.
“Give me this rose, please”, says little Fred.

Teacher: After R goes …

Children: S.

Teacher: S, you are welcome!

S is for spring and for summer too,
When it’s warm and the sky is blue.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: T.

Teacher: T, you are welcome!

T is for tick and for tock.
“Tick-tock, tick – tock”, says clock.

Teacher: After T goes …

Children: U.

Teacher: U, you are welcome!

U is for under, but not for at.
“I’m under the tree”, says brother Pat.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: V.

Teacher: V, you are welcome!

V is in five and also in seven,
It is in twelve and in eleven.

Teacher: Let’s name the next letter.

Children: W.

Teacher: W, you are welcome!

W is for winter when it is cold

But I like winter and I like cold.

Teacher: What is the next letter?

Children: X.

Teacher: X, you are welcome!

X is in six. Let’s count to six.
One, two, three, four, five, six.

Teacher: After X goes …

Children: Y.

Teacher: Y, you are welcome!

Y is for yard, where children play.
They play in the yard every day.

Teacher: What is the last letter of the English alphabet?

Children: Z.

Teacher: Z, you are welcome

Z is for zoo. Let’s go to the zoo.
I like to go to the zoo, and you?.

Teacher: OK, thank you very much! А теперь давайте проверим, насколько хорошо вы знаете алфавит.

Конкурс №1.“The ABC quiz ”. Answer the following questions:

Сколько букв в английском алфавите?

Назовите пятую и двадцатую буквы алфавита.

Сколько букв и звуков в слове mother, sweater, cat, bus, red?


Назовите три последние буквы.

Сколько гласных букв в алфавите? Назовите их.

Какая буква стоит в алфавите раньше L или M?

Конкурс № 2“Говорящие буквы” (буквы, которые звучат как некоторые слова).

Какая буква “омывает” Великобританию со всех сторон? ( C – sea)

Какая буква “приносит” мед? ( B – bee)

Какую букву вы “пьете” каждый день? ( T – tea)

Какая буква является вопросительным словом? (Y – why)

Назовите буквы-местоимения. ( I – I, U – you)

Какая буква всегда “восклицает”? ( O – oh)

Teacher: Dear children! I see you like English. You can speak English a little! Вы будете изучать английский язык, узнаете много интересного об английских писателях и поэтах, познакомитесь с героями английской литературы, совершите много увлекательных путешествий по замечательной стране Englishland! Я желаю вам успехов и радостных открытий! Я прощаюсь с вами, но знаю, что мы увидимся с вами вновь. И в завершении давайте все вместе споем песню об алфавите.(Звучит фонограмма “The alphabet song”).
